CHAPTER 3: Lunch
Surprisingly they just passed us by, which made me very worried, but I can’t let fear run my life. As we where eating the new girl Pi appeared.
“I don’t mean to disturb you all” she said “but I really don’t know anybody else and I hate eating alone.”
“Sure have a seat” I said, I knew how it felt not wanting to be alone.
“So what do you’ll do for fun around here?” Pi asked
“Not much, small town, little to do” I said
We talked awhile, she asked a lot of questions, well she asked me a lot of questions. Maybe Mark was right, maybe she does like me and doesn't realize I am gay. She kept staring at me I didn’t want to lead her on, so I figured tell her, she will find out sooner or later, why not now, but how to go about it.
“Pi” I said
“Yes” She smiled
“You do realize if you hang around us, a lot of people aren’t going to talk to you.” I said
“Why would you say that” she said “You’ll seem pretty okay to me”
“Because.......I am gay” I sighed
“So” She said as if it didn’t mean anything “My brother is gay”
“Your brother is gay” I said shocked
“Yeah, that is kinda why I have been asking you all those questions” She said
“I don’t understand” I said a little confused
“See my brother is taking a semester off of college to help my mom out with the store” She said “And well he is kinda lonely, he won’t admit it, but I think it would be nice for him to hang out with, you know some one like him”
“Are you trying to set me up on a blind date?” I asked
“Well, you could say that” She said
