CHAPTER 2: The Pool
They all walked to Jack’s house, which was John’s old house, When they got there Jack said to go on
ahead to the pool he would go get some drinks. Jack went inside towards the kitchen when he came
upon his sister Lizzie.
“Hi Jack.” Lizzie said.
“Hi” Jack said.
“You must have a girl over.” Lizzie said with a smile.
“Why do you say that?” Jack asked.
“Because you are wearing your black swim shorts, you only wear them when you are swimming with a
girl, otherwise you would just wear your old gym shorts.” Lizzie said.
“Well if you must know, I do have a girl over.” Jack said.
“Oh! Jack has a crush.” Lizzie giggled.
“Shut up!” Jack said while walking off.
Jack got the drinks and went outside. Evan and Ben where sitting on the side of pool with their feet in
the water, they where talking. Birdie was doing flips in the deep end of the pool. Jack put down the
drinks on the table and jumped into the pool right next to Birdie.
“Man.” Birdie said coming up from under the water.” What did you do that for, you almost killed me!”
“Sorry.” Jack said “Just trying to have some fun.”
They swam for sometime when they realized they ran out of drink.
“I will go get another 6 pack.” Evan said.
“Why don’t I go with you.” Ben said.
“Okay.” Evan said.
Evan and Ben went towards the kitchen, when they passed Lizzie.
“Who’s your friend, Evan?” Lizzie said.
“This is Ben.” Evan said.
“Hello.” Ben said while waving.
“I thought Jack had a girl over?” Lizzie asked.
“He does, my sister is outside.” Ben said.
“Oh.” Lizzie said.
“Well we just came to get some drinks, so we got to go get them.” Evan said.
“Nice meeting you.” Ben said while walking towards the kitchen.
They went into the kitchen and Evan opened the ice box and grabbed a 6 pack out of it. Just as he
turned around Ben grabbed the 6 pack and put it on the table.
“I know you want to.” Ben said with a smile.
“What?” Evan said confused as to what Ben meant.
Ben then grabbed Evan and pushed him into the wall, he then leaned in and kissed him. Evan was so
shocked he did not know what to do, so he did nothing. Ben then kneeled down and unzipped Evan’s
pants and began sucking, slowly. Evan moaned he had never felt so much pleasure. Just as he was
about to exploded, Ben stopped and stood up. Ben wiped his mouth off with the back of his hand and
then leaned into Evan again and kissed him, which made Evan even harder, then backed up.
“555 18 21” Ben said then turned around, grabbed the 6 pack and made his way back to the pool. Evan
hurried up and zipped his pants, just as he was running back, he bumped into Lizzie.
“Sorry.” Evan said.
“That’s okay, I figured since you all are swimming, I might as well join you.” Lizzie said
“Okay.” Evan said.
When Evan and Lizzie got outside, Birdie was just getting off the phone.
“That was Matty, me and Ben have to go home our dad wants us all to go out and have dinner together
to celebrate the move, we are finally finished packing.” Birdie said.
Evan looked crushed “Do you really have to go?”
“Yeah, we have to go.” Ben said.
“Ofcourse as soon as I want to go swimming you all have to leave.” Lizzie said while walking back
inside.
“Hey why don’t we walk you two home.” Jack said.
“That will be nice.” Birdie said.
They all dried off and then made there way to the front of the house. Just as they came from the back
they saw John’s car and John was just stepping out off it. Ben had his head turned and was talking to
Evan. Jack grabbed Birdie and dragged her to his dad.
“Dad” Jack said “This is Birdie.”
“Hello Birdie.” John said “My son has told me about you. You just moved here right.”
“Yeah, it is a very nice place, me and my brother love it here.” Birdie said.
“Oh” Jack said “That is her brother, Ben.”
Ben turned his head at the sound of his name “Hello”
John was silent, Those eyes, those lips. “Steven” John said softly.
“No dad.” Jack said “I said his name was Ben.”
John coming back to reality “Sorry he looks a lot like an old friend named Steven who I went to school
with.”
“Carter” Birdie said.
John was shocked by what Birdie said “Yes, how did you know?”
“Everyone always said Ben looked like our dad I just never believed it.” Birdie said.
“Steven Carter is your father?” John asked
“ Yeah, you want us to tell him we ran into you, being you two are old friends?’ Birdie asked
“No don’t do that.” John said.
“Okay, but we have to go, it was nice meeting you.” Birdie said.
“Bye” Ben said.
They walked off and John went inside. It didn’t take them long to get to the Carter’s house.
“Well this is where we have to go, so good night.” Birdie said.
“See ya.” Ben said
“Night.” Jack and Evan said almost in unison.
“Oh wait.” Birdie ran up to Jack and gave him a piece of paper then ran inside.
Jack opened the paper”555 18 21, cool it is her phone number.” Jack said.
“Oh that’s what he meant.” Evan said.
“Who meant?” Jack asked.
“Nothing.” Evan said.
Ben and Birdie went inside and found Steven and Matty sitting at the table waiting.
“Sorry we are so late.” Birdie said.
“That is okay.” Steven said.
They all sat down to dinner and ate, about an hour later the phone rang, Birdie made a bee line for
it.
“Hello.” Birdie said, hoping it was Jack.
“Is Ben there?” Evan asked
“Oh, sure hold on.” Birdie Said “BEN the phone is for you!!!” Birdie shouted so loud you could
probably here it two blocks down.
Ben picked up the phone” I knew you would call.”
“I just wanted to know if you wanted to get together tomorrow?” Evan asked.
“Sure why don’t we meet the same place we did today at around ten, okay.” Ben said
“Okay.” Evan said.
They got off the phone a few minutes later since it was so late, as soon as he put the phone down
it rang.
“Hello” Ben said.
“Is Birdie there?” Jack asked.
“Sure hold on.” Ben said “BIRDIE the phone is for you!!!” He is even louder then his sister.
“Hello” Birdie said.
“Hi” Jack said.
“So what do you want?” Birdie asked.
“I thought it would be fun to do something tomorrow.” Jack said.
“Okay why don’t you pick me up at my house around nine, and we can figure out something to
do.” Birdie said.
“Okay that will be perfect, see you then.” Jack said.
They got off the phone, and then Birdie and Ben went to bed.
