(Setting-The shoulder of the road, Linda and Steven are sitting in Linda's car deep in converstation as the sun sets)
Steven-Lins, I don't know if I can carry on like this, I love John......but at the same time I hate him. I hate him because he forced us to hide our love, something so beautiful should never be hidden. Now I have lost that love forever, but I am sick of hiding, I had to live a lie for 5 fucking years, isn't that long enough. (Tears fill his eyes)
Linda-Steven, sweetheart if John really loves you he'll call you or come to see you or something. He hid because he was scared, he only had to hide his feelings for you because everyone knows him, to everyone else he is "John-Fucking Superman-Dixon. To you he is your world and you will have him back I promise you (She hugs Steven)
(Setting-a week later at Steven's house, Steven lying in bed talking to Linda)
Linda-He hasn't called yet?
Steven-No! Did you think he would? He hate me, and all becasue I came out.
Linda-Steven Snap out of it! He loves you! I am sure you mean everything to him.
Steven-Lins its nice of you to try to make me feel better but it isn't doing anygood, he think I am worthless a wanker who likes to take it up the bum. I bet he is back with Christina, they are happy, planning to get married and she is going to have his baby!
Linda-Steven be real! In a week I doubt that much could happen!
Steven-Linda you don't realize how much can happen in a week. (rolls on to his side)
Linda-Steven get some rest, I have to be going anyway. Goodbye Steve.
Steven-See you later Lins.
(Setting-Linda pulls up in front of John's house, turns the engine off and gets out. She spots Kevin talking to John in the front yard)
Linda-Bollocks! Just what I want to put up with that tosser! (She walks towards them)
John-(Spots Linda) Shit! Here comes Carter's friend and she looks angry...
Kevin-I'll take care of her. (starts towards Linda)
Linda-Before you open your mouth let me say something. If anything besides the words Good Afternoon Miss snake their way out of your lips you will be on the ground and bleeding from the balls so fast it will make your head swim. Now what did you want to say?
Kevin-Good Afternoon Miss, I was just leaving. (Walks off down the road)
John-What spooked him?
Linda-I don't know....bad case of fleas mabye? I came to talk about Steven.
John-As if I didn't know.
Linda-Steven has not eaten or gotten out of bed for a week. Do you know why? I'll tell you why because you haven't so much as called him. Personally I don't see what he sees in you but I am not him. Steven loves you more then you will ever comprehend and if you can't see that then you are as senseless and blind as that tosser Kevin! You are his world, his reason for living, for five fucking years he waited to find someone who he could share himself with and when he does find that boy he turns out to be a mindless piece of shit! If anything happens to Steven I will hold you responsible, I will hunt you down and kill you. Do you understand? He is starving himself because he misses you so much that he can't see tommorrow, for him there is no tommorrow and it is all because he doesn't have you! Now if you have half a brain, go see him or pick up your phone and call him!
John-Linda I.....
Linda-I don't want to hear your sorry excuses...call him now. (she turns, gets into her car and speeds off)
John-I guess I'd better call him (Picks of his moble phone, dials Steven's number and waits for the answer)
Steven-Yes? Who is it?
John-Oh my god...Steven.
Steven-JOHNNY!
John-Steven I am a fool, please...(begins to cry) Please Please forgive me.
