CHAPTER 1: Prologue

This is my fourth attempt at writing some fan fiction about the movie Get Real. I noticed that the only written versions of the story involved with the movie was Patrick Wilde's play 'What's wrong with angry' and a transcript of the movie done by Sarah Gosling (a big hug and kiss for you Sarah), so I have decided to try and 'novelize' or 'short storyize' the movie. I am basing it on the movie as I haven't been able to get hold of a copy of the play the movie is based on. If I ever get a chance to or even a chance to see the actual script for the movie I may expand on the story more.I have also tried to include the scenes that were deleted from the final cut of the movie, but have had to use a bit of 'artistic license' with them as I've never actually seen them. If anybody who reads this has seen them and would be willing to let me know what they are actually like, I'll be more than grateful.

P.S. I will be adding the chapters here as I finish writing them.

Prologue.

Hi, my name is Steven Carter and the story that follows is how I met my first lover and how circumstances involved in my relationship with him, led to my coming out of the closet in a slightly dramatic fashion.

By the way, if you want to know what I look like. I'm about 179cm tall (that's a bit over 5 foot 10 in the old imperial scale), skinny as a rake, pale skin (I don't go out in the sun too much as I burn real easy) with short dark hair, and blue eyes. I'm also the only child of my parents, Graham and Jackie Carter. Dad owns a camera shop/portrait studio and mum works as a secretary in an office in town. The rest I'll let you guess about as a guy has to keep some secrets.

So just sit back, kick off your shoes and read on.
